"Watch Out iPad, Honeycomb Has 16 Tablet Apps!"

If you can't even view a document (and certainly not write one) on the Xoom it functions only as a Games / Movie console and I would just buy a Nintendo DS or PSP. This just deserved to be a post in it's own right!  Normally this should just be a Tweet.
So I've done that as well! "Watch Out iPad! Honeycomb Has 16 Tablet Apps!"- and 11 of them are games!

Let's just check that with a graph of available apps: (Sorry about Android not registering, maybe I should have created the graph on a Xoom and not an iPad ..... oh! ... you can't create a graph and a Xoom, that''s why!)

  2. lol. By the way sir, the iPad has been out for how long? If I remember correctly, about a year. Thats a lot of time for the community and therefore apps of a product to grow. Factor in that you only get one choice of a tablet from Apple - any product comes out neatly polished, and that is also helped by it having limited compatibility, both hardware and software wise.

Android however, is an open source OS, making it potentially easier to program for, has a giant product range in each product type(compared to Apple at least) and has superior compatibility. I have to admit that not every Android product ends up perfectly polished, but that is a sacrifice many are willing to make to watch Youtube natively :P, among other things of course. It can also be easily personalized, without going through anything even resembling a jailbreak.

Android is relatively new compared to Apple, but as we can see from many sources on the web, it's growth in popularity is absolutely amazing. Give it a year to develop, and then see which platform has more apps. :)

Oh, and Windows is also superior to Mac, especially if you're looking for customization, personalization, compatibility and also deleting single items in the recycle bin! XP
